MuConsultancy · Wellness Activation & Brand Building
Wellness,
measured.
We design and run wellness experiences for events, retreats, resorts and brands, with live brain and body data in the room. Then we help wellness brands build on what that data shows.
Experiences people feel, and data that shows what happened.

What it is
Two services,
one backbone.
The wellness and longevity market is full of promises. What it lacks is proof. Both services rest on the same thing: a neuroscience lab that measures what an experience does.
Service one
Wellness Activation
A signature wellness moment for a conference, side event, retreat, resort or brand launch. Breath, movement, sound and light, with live EEG and heart-rate data on screen, so guests watch their own nervous system respond.
- Experience design and programme curation
- Live biodata in the room
- Our crew, our equipment, our practitioners
- A short measured report afterwards
Service two
Wellness Brand Building
For resorts, retreat centres, clinics, product makers and longevity start-ups that want to be trusted, not just noticed. A position you can defend, one signature ritual, and evidence behind it.
- Positioning, narrative and claims language
- A scripted signature ritual and staff training
- Pilot studies designed and analysed by our lab
- Launch, content and partner introductions
Longevity audiences have heard every claim. What earns attention is something they can see and feel in their own body, in the room.
Health-adjacent claims draw scrutiny from regulators, press and clinicians. Language backed by measurement is an asset. Language that overreaches is a liability.
A panel, a coffee break, a goodie bag. People remember the gatherings where they took part, not the ones where they only listened.
Wellness Activation
What a guest
actually goes through.
Every activation follows the same five beats, whether it lasts forty minutes or three days.
- i
Arrive
A calm threshold: light, sound and a short welcome that slows the room down before anything starts.
Sound · light
- ii
Baseline
A two-minute check-in: a short EEG or heart-rate snapshot and three quick questions on how they feel.
EEG · heart-rate variability · self-report
- iii
Practice
The guided core: breath, movement or focus work led by a practitioner, with live data on screen.
Breath Lab · Brain Mirror
- iv
See it
Their own before-and-after, shown back to them simply. This is the part people talk about afterwards.
Live visual
- v
Take home
A personal one-page summary and one practice to keep, so the experience lasts beyond the day.
Personal summary

Activations are wellbeing and self-regulation experiences. The measurements describe what changed during the session; they are not a diagnosis or a medical assessment. Guest data is anonymised, used only with consent, and never sold.

Wellness Brand Building
A brand with substance
behind the story.
Concrete outputs, not a mood board. Each one is usable by your team the week it is delivered.
Position & language
Claims you can stand behind
A narrative and vocabulary built on what is measured, not what is cured. Credible to guests and clinicians, and safe with regulators.

The one thing guests remember
Designed, scripted and taught to your staff, so it runs the same way every time without us in the room.
Evidence layer
A pilot with real guests
EEG, heart-rate and questionnaires, designed and analysed by our lab, and reported plainly, including what didn’t work.
Partners & community
A brand that lives in rooms
Introductions to clinicians, practitioners, venues and events in our network, beyond the website.

Two examples
What an engagement
looks like.
Two illustrative engagements, one for each service. The names, numbers and schedules show the shape of the work; they are not past clients.
Example one · ActivationIllustrative
The Longevity Weekend, Lisbon
A host brings together longevity practitioners, clinicians and investors over two days, and wants it to feel lived, not lectured. MuConsultancy designs and runs the experience layer under the host’s name.

Day one · Saturday · 60–80 guests
Longevity in Practice
-
Arrival and baselineTwo-minute heart-rate snapshot and three questions at the door.
-
Movement and breathYoga into breathwork, with the room’s combined heart-rate rhythm on the wall.
-
A grounded panelClinicians on what works in prevention today, and what is still only promising.
-
Displays from the fieldBuilders show their work as something to try. Brain Mirror at the centre.
-
A long breakfast tableA second check-in; each guest sees their own before-and-after.
Day two · Sunday · 18–24 seats
The Roundtable
-
A quiet arrivalTwo minutes of guided breath at the table before anyone speaks.
-
What Saturday showedA five-minute anonymised brief of the group’s data: what shifted, what didn’t.
-
Lunch and roundtableThree moderated themes: practice, evidence and capital.
-
Next stepsEach guest names one introduction they want; the host gets the list within 48 hours.
Example two · Brand buildingIllustrative
A coastal retreat brand
A small retreat on the Portuguese coast has the setting and the team, but sounds like every other wellness venue. In twelve weeks it gets a clear position, one signature ritual and evidence behind it.

Guest and team interviews, site visit, competitor map.
Narrative, language guide and the signature ritual.
The ritual measured with real guests on site.
Content, partners, press and a launch activation.
Signature ritual: Sunrise Coherence
- 40 minutes at first light on the cliff deck
- Slow breath at about six breaths a minute
- Optional heart-rate band; each guest sees their curve
- Closes with tea and one line in a journal
Evidence: a pilot with guests
- About 20 guests across three retreat weeks
- Heart-rate variability and mood, before and after
- Short EEG check-ins on the first and last day
- Plain summary, published whatever it shows
Language: say this, not that
| Say | Avoid |
|---|---|
| A practice to help you settle | Cures stress |
| We measure how your body responds | Clinically proven |
| Guests often report feeling calmer | Reverses ageing |
Track record
We have measured
this before.
Wellness experiences that brands and studios brought to our lab. Each was measured with EEG and body signals; most results belong to the client and are unpublished. No card claims an effect.

Our standard
If we can’t measure it, we don’t promise it.
- Measured, not claimed. We report what the data shows and nothing more.
- Null results published. When an effect isn’t confirmed, we say so plainly.
- Wellness, not medicine. Self-regulation and wellbeing, never treatment.
- Privacy first. Guest data is anonymised and never sold.
How we work
The shape of
an engagement.
A direct conversation
30 minutes on your audience, venue, brand and what success looks like.
The arc and the measures
Formats, speakers and the few measures that matter, agreed before anything is built.
We run the room
Our crew installs, guides and operates everything: tech, practitioners, visuals, data.
What it did
A clear report and content you can use with partners, guests and investors.
The activation
One event, one room: a conference, side event, launch or private gathering.
Single day
The flagship
Multi-day programmes and installations for festivals, retreats and summits.
2–7 days
The brand build
Position, ritual, evidence and launch for a wellness brand or destination.
8–16 weeks
The resident partner
Resorts, clinics and centres with measured wellness built into their offer.
Ongoing
Every engagement is scoped and priced after the first call.
For planners
Questions we
usually get.
Is this a medical service?
No. Activations are wellbeing and self-regulation experiences. The measurements describe what changed during a session; they are not a diagnosis or a treatment.
How many people can take part?
From one guest to rooms of five hundred. A single Breath Lab session works best with 6 to 60 people; larger events run several sessions or a collective format.
How long does an activation last?
From a 40-minute moment inside a conference to a programme of up to seven days.
Is everyone able to take part?
Before a session we ask about epilepsy and photosensitivity, heart conditions, pregnancy and recent psychiatric history. Some of these change the format; a few rule out the light or the cold.
What happens to guest data?
It is anonymised, used only with consent and never sold. Each guest can receive their own one-page summary.
Can it run under our brand?
Yes. We often run the experience layer under the host’s name, with our crew working in the background.
Where do you work, and how is it priced?
We are based in Lisbon and Aljezur and travel across Europe and the Gulf. Each engagement is priced after the first call, from the formats, the days on site, the crew and the travel.
Let’s build a room
worth measuring.
Tell us about your event, venue or brand. The first step is a 30-minute call: what you want people to feel, and how we’ll know it worked.
