What is
neurofeedback?
EEG neurofeedback measures and records brain waves to train the brain in self-regulation. It is an effective therapy used globally to treat various neurological conditions.

Learn more about it

The Technology
We use advanced EEG clinical technology, such as the Neurobit Optima amplifier for data collection, Bioexplorer software for data processing, and MindWorkstation software for data translation and real-time feedback. For home neurofeedback, we rely on the Interaxon Muse headset and the Myndlift online platform.
How it works
We perform an EEG brain scan before each neurofeedback training program to assess your brain and adjust the program to your needs. By analyzing your brain data and comparing it to a database, we provide a detailed report and tailored training protocols for your treatment.

Is neurofeedback safe?

Neurofeedback is a non-invasive technique that teaches people to self-regulate their brain waves. The headset listens and records brainwaves without altering them. By wearing the headset and playing games, the brain learns to regulate itself.

Brain Activity

Electrical signals generated in the brain can reflect your current mental state. We use EEG to measure this activity in real time.

Brainwave decomposition

We separate the raw brain activity into distinct brainwaves that may be associated with a particular mental state. For example, alpha brainwaves usually signify a relaxed state.

Personalized Training

We offer customized training plans. After an assessment, your neurofeedback expert will create an individualized plan given your current mental state and goals.

Mental training
Train using specialized games or videos. When your brainwaves hit the target range, you progress in the game or enhance your viewing. This real-time monitoring and rewarding is called operant conditioning.
Practice makes perfect
By training consistently over time, operant conditioning can retrain your brain activity, optimizing your mental state, with implications for improved focus, reduced anxiety and more.
What is the evidence behind neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback was first discovered in the 1950’s as a form of operant conditioning, in which the brain changes its activities as as result of stimuli, or positive or negative feedback.
